035 Motorhome Discrimination in the UK

Motorhome Discrimination in the UK

Passing Places this week touches on the topic of motorhome use in the UK and some of the discrimination and negative perceptions that persist particularly in the more scenic parts of the country where there is pressure on car parks and local beauty spots. What a difference to my experiences in France where motorhomes are actively encouraged and great facilities ensure that local towns and villages benefit from the economic contribution that travellers in motorhomes can make during their visits.

Let me know your thoughts and any experiences you might have had, both good and bad.  Next week I will be back out on the road with some Scottish content and my own personal insights of my travels around Scotland.

All the best for 2014 Kevin. I look forward to hearing your travelogues and the delightful sounds of Scotland. Thank you for sharing it with us, especially as I can’t get there myself. Give Skid a scratch for me!

    Warmest regards,

It’s lovely to hear from you. I hope you both have a wonderful 2014 and if you manage to visit Scotland it would be marvelous to meet up. Keeping Passing Places going is high on my New Year resolution list.

      Best wishes.
